Helping schools navigate the energy crisis

ISA Energy is the Independent Schools Association’s new support resource for energy.
We’re here to help schools navigate the current energy climate and mitigate rising costs.
Schools can contact us to:

  • Receive free, independent advice on energy suppliers.
  • Save time by delegating contract management and audits.
  • Minimise their carbon footprint with renewable energy.
  • Find out how to reduce gas and electricity use while maintaining both student comfort and historic features in buildings.

We provide free energy renewal quotes for schools to compare with their current supplier(s), to ensure they get the best rates available. This is highly recommended, as prices vary dramatically between different suppliers and consultants.

Simply send a copy of a recent bill to isaenergy@u4luk.com and receive a quote within two working days.

Case study

The prestigious Oundle School has 850 boarders and 260 day pupils, making it the third largest independent boarding school in England. With some school buildings dating from the 1600s, its energy use is significant.

We helped the school switch to renewable energy, saving 1,200 tonnes of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere. Furthermore, we have audited the school for energy saving projects which are projected to reduce its energy use significantly.
